ANY DRIVER WALKING THROUGH CONTAINER PILES WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE FACILITY FOR SAFETY VIOLATION
- Drivers MUST remain in their vehicles while in the container yard.
- U-TURNS are NOT permitted while on the terminal.
- All Truckers MUST wear high visibility safety vests while on TTI premises.
- Cell phone use is prohibited while driving.
- Absolutely no passengers allowed in trucks.
- Watch for pedestrians crossing at the gate area.
- Follow all written and verbal instructions. Failure to do so will result in fines and penalties.
- Speed in the container yard is 25 M.P.H. (15 M.P.H. at the gate) and will be strictly enforced.
- Observe traffic patterns and stop signs.
- Do not cut across traffic lanes or container runs.
- Yard horn signals:
- Blast - Stop
- Blasts - Pull Forward
- Blasts - Back Up
- All Yard Equipment has the right of way at all times!
- Stay clear of all Ship Operations.
- Stay off of the high line.
All truckers are responsible for making sure that their chassis pins are un-locked.
IT IS THE DRIVER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO DELIVER THE CORRECT CONTAINER NUMBER AGAINST THE CORRECT BOOKING. TERMINAL WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR A CONTAINER THAT IS MIS-DELIVERED AGAINST A WRONG BOOKING.
You will need the following:
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Tractor license
- Booking Number
- Seal Number
- Trucking Company
- Tractor Weight
While in the Yard:
- Read the interchange and verify all information; gate pass, container number, chassis number, seal number, trucking company, booking number, tractor weight, and driver's license number are correct.
- Failure to obey delivery instructions, parked or flipped, for delivery of container will result in a fine.
- Follow All Terminal Operating Rules. Failure to do so will result in fines and suspension of driving privileges on the terminal.
- If you encounter any problems or have questions, go to the Trouble Office Window A.

You will need the following:
- Valid Drivers License
- Valid Tractor license
- Trucking Company
While in the Yard:
- Empty containers must be free of cargo, old placards, and trash.
- Read the interchange and verify all information; gate pass, container number, chassis number, trucking company, and driver's license number are correct.
- Containers that are not parked or decked as assigned are subject to a fine against the responsible driver.
- Follow All Terminal Operating Rules. Failure to do so will result in fines and suspension of driving privileges on the terminal.
- If you encounter any problems or have questions, go to the Trouble Office Window A.
All truckers are responsible for making sure that their chassis pins are locked prior to exiting the terminal.
You will need the following:
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Tractor license
- Trucking Company
- Valid PIN Number
While in the Yard:
- Read the interchange and verify all information; gate pass, container number, trucking company, and driver's license number are correct.
- Follow All Terminal Operating Rules. Failure to do so will result in fines and suspension of driving privileges on the terminal.
- If you encounter any problems or have questions, go to the Trouble Office Window A.
At the out gate, before taking out the load:
- Read the interchange and verify all information; gate pass, container number, chassis number, trucking company, and driver's license number are correct.
- If you encounter any problems or have questions, go to the Trouble Office Window A.
All truckers are responsible for making sure that their chassis pins are locked prior to exiting the terminal.
You will need the following:
- Valid Drivers license
- Valid Tractor license
- Trucking Company
- Booking Number
- Release Number
While in the Yard:
- To inspect empty for damage, please proceed to outbound lane 16 and speak with the clerk. Drivers are not permitted to open container doors on the terminal. If the chassis is damaged, go to roadability for assistance.
- Follow All Terminal Operating Rules. Failure to do so will result in fines and suspension of driving privileges on the terminal.
- If you encounter any problems or have questions, go to the Trouble Office Window A.
At the out-gate:
- Read the interchange and verify all information; gate pass, container number, chassis number, trucking company, and driver's license number are correct.

- Pier T is a pool of pools “POP” chassis only terminal.
- Drivers delivering containers on WCCP or non “POP” chassis cannot drop chassis at TTI.
- All non "POP" chassis must be taken out immediately after delivery of containers.
- NO EVERGREEN CHASSIS ALLOWED.
- Chassis instructions on ticket do not apply to WCCP, Evergreen, or non “POP” chassis.
- If a chassis is dropped at TTI and needs to be located, the trucking company making the request will assume any cost associated with locating it.
